The grotto of Seokguram
Seokguram looks like a cave with clay covering dome-shaped granite stones. This was built by Kim Dae-seong, in memory of his parents, in the 10th year of King Gyeongdeok's rein. Seokguran represents Korea's finest Buddhist sculpture, one of the greatest works in the world, recognized by UNESXO as the World Cultural Heritage. It is a masterpiece materialized by religious commitment, highly sophisticated art and science of the Silla kingdom.
